What I do at Franklin Electric

I am the Facilities Manager at our Corp. Headquarters in Ft. Wayne IN. Our Team takes care of the grounds, building and it's occupants. We strive to keeping it looking new and our people comfortable with the necessities they need to fulfill their jobs. 

Why Franklin Electric

I have been with FE for over 13 years. I started as a Facilities Specialist, was promoted to Facilities Supervisor and then to Facilities Manager. You can grow with the company if you apply yourself and continue to grow your skill set. Our benefit package is very desirable and is better than most. We have free coffee and soda at all times. A Fitness Center on site that is very nice. There are monitors all over the building to keep you up to date with news, sports and company communications. We have 2 1/2 miles of walking trails for you to use and relax with some fresh air. We are located in a country setting with not much noise. 
We have onsite Yoga classes, you can schedule a massage or sit outside on the patio. We have a Holiday Luncheon with the Philharmonic just for the employees during lunch. We share a suite at the Tin Caps. You can invite your family to our annual summer picnic. Our building is a secure location with a badge in system.

Who am I?

After serving our Country for 7 years in the Army, I have done various maintenance type jobs, mechanic and fabricator. I left a housing manufacturing job as a Maintenance Supervisor to become the Facilities Specialist. I achieved a FMP Certification from the "International Facilities Management Association" and was promoted to my current role. 

Advice for prospective candidates

Be punctual and professional at all times. We are interacting with Executives and Cleaning staff. We respect everyone and help them achieve their goals.
