What you will be doing:
  • Financial Analysis
    • Develops and implements consistent financial analysis tools and templates for early warnings across Operations with data interpretation including margin analysis, mix, bill of material (BOM) drivers, currency, costs, manufacturing productivity, new product development, cost take out initiatives, and sku complexity.
    • Leads financial development (owner of financial templates) and evaluation of business projects, new product development, new business acquisitions, restructuring, cost reductions, footprint optimization and operation improvement strategies while partnering with cross functional team for key inputs/assumptions.
    • Develop and create financial reporting improvements to positively impact P&L/WC optimization.
    • Leads resolution on operations internal reporting, forecasts/AOP issues, disconnects, bottlenecks or system limitations to resolve timely and with subject matter experts across organization.
    • Supports the closing ensuring linkage to projections by Segment and Commercial Unit and presentations (MMM, Ops Review, BOD) to investigate gaps to targeted results and help develop mitigation actions as needed.
  • Prepare, review and interpret financial results
    • Develops detailed financial reviews using financial modeling/trends for critical decisions, focused on manufacturing, sourcing, and logistics.
    • Owner of the long-range plan leveraging history and building a flexible model for changes in assumptions
    • Leads collaboration with process partners on best approach to gaining insights to drivers of change and estimates leveraging existing tools and provide enhancements as needed.
    • Leader in discipline and rigor in month end, QTD, YTD reporting and analysis across Operational KPIs
  • Management
    • Demonstrate strategic, cross-functional leadership across operational partnerships.
    • Collaborate with multi-nationals in a matrix/functional environment.
    • Lead financial analysis and reporting training across functions and locations.

What you need:
  • Bachelor’s degree in finance, business management, or a related field (required)
  • Three to six plus years of relevant experience in financial analysis, or a related field (required)
  • Master of Business Administration degree (preferred)
  • Advanced accounting software (JDE preferred), Power BI
